This is a repost without the mentioned directory listing!

Hello, over the winter break I would like to learn about the smalltalk
language, but I require your help. (Is the below system a good one for the
real world.)

I sent a letter to a consultant on my "school unix system". I enclose his reply
with the contents of the named directory.

I have time to order books, so I may order the ones you mention. The reason
I like books is that they store better on my shelf. I would be willing to buy
1 or 2 books, and look through anything else that you suggest.

I have 2 MS degrees (computer science), and I'm thinking about a 3rd in
electronics! I know about C++, CLOS, and ADA, but I know "naught" about
Smalltalk.

						Thank you,
						Christopher Lusardi
P.s: I apologize, if this is a faq!
