Hi all. I'm still on the look-out for Smalltalk project metrics. Given the
maturity of the language and the number of people using it there must be
some ways of measuring complexity, estimating resource etc. Of course there's
no hard and fast set of rules, but if Cobol project managers can take a
specification and give a resource estimate, why can't we do the same for
Smalltalk?

It's odd that everybody who reads this group will attest to the productivity
and ease of maintenance brought about by Smalltalk, but getting real numbers
is almost impossible. I cannot stress the importance of these facts to the
real world of commercial application development. Any help would be greatly
appreciated and I will post a summary here.

Regards, Will
