Given the discussions that have been creeping up concerning the
over abundance of Smalltalk jobs, I am curious as to the current
industry rates for Smalltalk programmers. What's the usual avg.
hourly rate for contractors? How about full time programmers?
Are bonuses usually offered for jobs requiring travel, etc ?
Does knowledge of more than one flavor of Smalltalk command a
premium?

I am interesting in information on all experience levels. My
own experience level is 3 years with ParcPlace Smalltalk
(ObjectWorks 4.0 and 4.1, VisualWorks 1.0 and 2.0) producing
a commercial application and internal utilities.

This is in no way a solicitation for a job. I just want to have
an understanding of the rates/salaries available in the "real world."
