I recently ftp'ed (C-Scheme) src.tar.gz from
swiss-ftp.ai.mit.edu/archive/scheme-7.3 since no binaries were available
for my machine - MIPS computer systems running EP/IX version 1.4.3.
My question is, how do I compile the source into a scheme compiler?
The user's manual does not contain any information on that. Also, there
are no other scheme compilers already installed on my machine. I do have
emacs 19.28 installed, dunno if that will help in any way at all.

I would really appreciate any help. If possible, please reach me via
eMail at nandu@longs.att.com if you can. Thanks in advance.
