As long as you have the standard developing kit (gcc, make,
the lot...), you should be able to compile SWI Prolog,
which is, IMHO, an excellent and user--friendly Prolog system.

SWI--Prolog is available from
	ftp://swi.psy.uva.nl/pub/SWI-Prolog
but the Linux source and binaries should be on almost every
Linux Sunsite mirror, and could even be part of your distribution.
Are you sure you don't have it already installed? ;-)
