    Tongue -in-cheek, yes.  Certainly not the attitude of a TOPS20
    hacker.  TENEX (and consequently TOPS20) had symbolic, source
    language debugging in kernel mode from day 1 -- a feature that a
    certain other DEC 3-letter, 32-bit operating systems (on which
    even I worked for a while) *never* got.
    
    All of which adds credence to Mark's signature line:
