Yes. It is a lot harder to fix after the event....
"Please put the enclosed disk in driva A: and type PATCHME" is somewhat
easier than "Please take apart your computer, find the big chip with INTEL
written on it, somehow get it out of whatever socket it sits in, and plug
the new one in". Disks are also a lot cheaper than Pentiums, and reusable,
too.
