I'm a UNIX type person with a side interest in PDPs ... although
they're really before my time! Many were made before I was born ...

I'd just like to say that LINUX (the *free* UNIX) is not onlt free,
but also very stable (200 days uptime here -- only rebooted to upgrade
operating system!). I've yet to see a PANIC from LINUX. Minix on the
other had would PANIC fairly regularly ....

I'd take UNIX any day over RT11, but I'm not sure about RSX, having
not used it ... Maybe we write a PDP UNIX in FORTRAN ? :-)
