Is there an emacs-like editor *written in Common Lisp*?

I'm asking this because I'll be using AKCL ported to Go32 environment
running on top of DOS. I know there's a DOS port of GNU Emacs called
demacs, but inferior-lisp mode is not, of course, available in demacs.

The second alternative would be using an emacs-like editor such as
micro-emacs or mg, but I really don't want to launch AKCL everytime I
edit my programs. Hmm.., does (system "mg file.lisp") work on DOS?

I noticed in the FAQ list that CMU Common Lisp includes an emacs-like
editor Hemlock, but would it work on AKCL as well?

I would greatly appreciate your help.
