Hi,
I'm trying to learn Dylan on my mac. I'm using Marlais and am
reimplementing a "note card browser" I have done in Smalltalk and
Hypertalk. I have the basic classes for the notecards working.
By understanding the Window-menu.dyl example, I've been able to handle a
first cut at displaying a card. Now it's time for the next step --
responding to user clicks in the window. Is there any support in Marlais
or Mindy to handle getting keyboard and mouse events yet? I didn't see it,
and suspect it's waiting for someone else's free time.

I understand that I can extend the system by programming in C/C++, but I'm
resisting that. I'm also getting familiar with MCL 3 in my spare time, so
I'm willing to wait if that's appropriate; if, however, there's a simple
trick I'm missing, I'd like to hear about it

My thanks to all who are working on Marlais, Mindy, and the RealThing,
particularly for the mac. Thanks, too, for any who take the time to offer
suggestions here.
