Whatever the merits of the MAC, that 7% or 8% is the total market share 
for the machines using MAC OS.  When all of the companies making Intel 
based boxes (i.e. PC clones) the overall market share for those machines 
dwarfs the MAC market.  E.G. if Dell sells 35 and Gateway sells 12% that 
alone is twice as many machines as the MAC.  The real question for Apple 
in the coming years is keeping software developers on board I think.
