1. Due to the severe storm, AAAI is giving a one day extension for papers
   express mailed from the East Coast. (If we need to revise this extension
   later, we *may* add another day if mail service is not restored;
   hopefully this will not be necessary.) Papers from the East
   Coast may arrive on 1/10 (instead of 1/9 as was stated in the CFP). 

2. People submitting papers from elsewhere in the country (i.e. those whose
   mail delivery service is not affected by the storm) are asked to stick
   to the original deadline.  

3. The latest information will be posted on the AAAI web page http://www.aaai.org

4. Unfortunately, just as in 1993 disaster strikes twice. No Earthquake,
   but ten minutes ago, AAAI lost all power. Their computers are down and
   their phones are down.
