Does anyone know of any encoding techniques which allow real-time
music in audio form to be input to a AI machine (Neural or Otherwise).

Has anyone attempted to build a machine that recognises musical styles.

	Proposed experiment :

Play 10 seconds of an arbitrary piece of music and have the machine
derive its style e.g. Classical, Rock, Blues etc.

	Feedback please :)

	Mark Stuart.
