Hello, AI community,
I've just started to read into the issue and thus would like
to post an elementary question, or at least one, that seems
elementary to me:
Can one state that it is possible for a machine program
to develop non-predictable behaviour?
Of course, we all know, that our software most commonly
behaves unpredictably, but is this valid in the strict
theoretical sense? Even if we don't want the machine
to behave that way?
It may thus be that one major characteristic of human
beings is the possibility to behave unpredictable...
Am I wrong?
Thanx for answering, Chris
