Could the Internet grow into one giant A.I. ?

a few points:
1. The Internet is surely the biggest source of information in the world. With the growth
that everyone is predicting it can only get bigger.

2. A.I. and Expert systems seem to be pretty intwind from what i
understand. You need a decent knowledge base for an A.I. to make any
actions, assumptions and predictions.

3.CPU's are going to have to get SMART if they are going to keep up with
the ever increasing need for power and speed. Predicting operations
that are to come is surely the next step in CPU design.

Well could we see the day that a A.I runs the Internet and we get a new
form of intellegence?

Tell me how it is!
