Conscious Computing is seeking beta testers for its new
LinkLisp VBX/DLL for Windows product. A brief description
of LinkLisp and a beta test application follows.

---------------------------------------------------------------

                * LinkLisp for Windows *

LinkLisp VBX/DLL lets developers use Lisp as a component
in Visual Basic, C/C++, and even Windows application macro
languages such as Lotus macros. This small, fast Lisp compiler
supports a large subset of Common Lisp. It also supports Windows
features such as Dynamic Data Exchange(DDE) and Dynamic Link
Libraries (DLLs).
A few simple VBX properties make it easy to get started
using LinkLisp for windows. For greater efficiency, there is a
powerful function call based API fast enough for any Windows task,
including callbacks and hooks. Any Windows product that supports
Dynamic Link Libraries can call LinkLisp functions. LinkLisp can
make calls back into the host application, other DLLs, the
Windows operating system, and even into Visual Basic.
LinkLisp is ideal for adding intelligence to an existing
application. Pattern recognition, user-defined formulas, and
natural language processing can all be done in Lisp, while the
host application handles the screen and user input. LinkLisp
provides a solid base for adding a powerful macro language to
an application.
The $249 package includes the LinkLisp DLL and VBX, a
Lisp language help file, a C/C++ header file, a development
environment (source included), sample code and on-line API help.
There is no run-time distribution fee.
System requirements: Windows 3.1, 386 or higher CPU,
3 megabytes RAM (4 recommended).
