Herr Treder writes from good ole' Deutschland:
I say: "The world consists of stories..."
Yes, that is correct. Note that a story can either be lived or told, or
only imagined. They don't have to be written, but they can be that also.
Anyone writes them down, but they exist in the air within and around us.
They are the flow of life. I have no awareness except that there is merely
the story that I am a thing that has this "awareness". There is no world,
and there is no mind. Not in some concrete sense. The world and the mind
are the two sides of a coin in a story about a being having an adventure.
Adventures are fun. Probably the reason for stories. They enjoy being. They
always have. The mind is mythological as the Buddha said, "mu-shin", "no
mind" to think "thoughts" because a thought is also just a story as is the
existence of mind. All stories exist for lack of anything better to be.
The place where stories and all in them reside is called the Void. It is
not describable except through stories about adventure. It is called
the Void because nothing truer than fiction could do justice to it in the
describing of it. It is the "last" and the "first". It is many, one and none.
It is not describable at all. Science is only models, stories. Learning,
working, and reasoning are only parts of stories. No more can be said.

"Those whom Heaven helps we call the Sons of Heaven,
They do not learn this by learning,
They do not work it by working,
They do not reason it by using reason,
To let understanding stop at what cannot be understood
             is a high attainment.
Those who cannot do it will be destroyed on the Lathe of Heaven"
