According to an article in this week's (11-21-94) EE Times,
the makers of FuzzyCalc have patented fuzzy values in a spreadsheet.

A spokesperson for the company was quoted as saying that the patent
covers any use of fuzzy values in a spreadsheet.

This seems quite broad to me. 

Can they get away with this?
