This Monday night (6/8) is the episode of Northern Exposure
(10 PM CBS) wherein Chris discusses with the physicist
turned carny the Many Worlds Interpretation of Quantum
mechanics.

It made me laugh when I saw it the first time. This may
be the only instance in a contemporary issue in quantum
physics has played a part in a sit-com script.
(Obviously quantum leap and Star Trek don't count - not
contemporary). Query - is non-contemporary science an oxymoron?
P.S. That 10 PM is EST.
