I am presently trying to define the goals and scope of my msc thesis. The
main topic I intend to follow is the definition or construction of
rational agents in the context of a multi agent society. In particular I
am interested in the role of intentionality in the construction of such
agents.

I cannot stop myself from keeping in mind the connections between these
topics and those of the general problems of cognition.

Nevertheless, since my goal is to write a msc thesis, I am experimenting some
difficulties on defining the bounds of the work to be done and the goals
to be reached.

So I would like to receive some hints or hot issues on this matter. Also
I'd like to know some important references on this area.

Thanks in advance

Luis Antunes
