Somewhere buried in this group is some comments on imitation and it's
importance in learning. I observed today with my students as I was trying to
get them to learn Logo for the first time that they needed a lot of
imitation before they became fluent in the language ( could think in it).
This observation was in
a constructionist environment building knowledge bases for a backward
chaining kb program written in Logo. It dawned on me how important is
imitation before knowledge becomes procedural.
