Bravo!  Bravo!

I applaud the distinction between intellect and intelligence.

My intuition is that computers are rapidly converging on the ability to
use intellect in many problem domains.
On the other hand, the implementation of a computer possessing 
intelligence, that is the ability to apply intellect in quite 
general settings, will prove much more difficult.
