I've never had a pet that 'I just got tired of'
I think a lot of nonsense gets talked about when it is or isn't OK to kill
things, though I don't kill anything myself except for food or clothing or
in self protection.  But for a totally man-made being, I probably won't be
so finicky.
I guess if the power consumption isn't too gross, just shove the thing into
an asylum until the hardware breaks....
But I'd expect some kind of surgery might improve its IQ?
