I'm not sure what you mean by "privileged access".  The mental processes
in the brain generate the language output, but I'm not sure how
much privileged access we have to them.  Most people are not aware
of them at all, and no one understands them or has them in complete
control.  Similarly, the program can generate linguistic output without
us having the foggiest idea of how it is doing so.
