 I have a tree in my yard that has knowledge built into its wooden structure
as to where it can best get light, and that has knowledge built into its
system of roots as to where it can best obtain moisture and nutrition.  Do
you therefore claim that the tree, by virtue of its knowledge, has
consciousness?
