I regret to say that the the beta releases of the neural net (%TNN) and
CHAID (%TREEDISC) macros are no longer available free of charge from our
ftp server. According to the most recent memo I received from Mark
Brown, they are available only as part of the Data Mining Professional
Service. I have not been told the official price for this service, but I
have heard rumors ranging from $15,000 to $100,000. For more
information, contact Mark Brown (sasjub@unx.sas.com). If you are
displeased by this change in the distribution of the macros, please send
your complaints to Cathy Maahs-Fladung (sascmf@unx.sas.com) in Technical
Support, who is compiling information on customer responses to this
change.
