PhD Studentship available at
The Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering
University of Brighton, U.K.
---------------------------------------------------
Our Department has funding for a PhD program, fees, subsistence, etc.,
for someone to work in the area of neural networks for real-time
applications. The aim is to develop neural network models and
appropriate implementations for applications where there are real-time
constraints and high speed is required. The exact application area
is yet to be finalised, but it might involve automotive engines.
The prospective researcher therefore needs a reasonable grasp of
maths and software, an interest in the applications of neural networks,
and also familiarity with hardware in the digital/micros area.
A good honours degree in Electronic Engineering, Computing or equivalent
is required.
