	I will agreed with others that in the long run , OO is the way to
go. But I see here is more of how much time do you have to hand in your
assignment, and how familiar are you with c++ ?
	If you are not familiar with c++, then it is going to take you 
longer to program in c++, and remember, to really do it right, you have
to spend sometime in the designing phase.
