I'm soliciting suggestions for my neural net macros.

Suppose you have already trained a net. Now you have a certain output
pattern, and you want to solve for a set of inputs that produce the
given output. Do you call this inverting the net, reversing the net,
or what?

Since there are often infinitely many solutions, what criteria might
be used to select among these solutions in real-life applications?

Would it be useful to have a range of acceptable output values rather
than one specific output pattern?

Would you want to do some sort of sensitivity analysis? If so, what?
