G'Day

I just started having a look at SNNS for the first time. The
documentation seems to have been written for someone who has
been using SNNS for years. There is no section like "Getting
Started" and the description of what the input files look like
is about as cryptic as I have come across. Does anyone know a
simple way of getting into SNNS without having to read the 250+
pages of documentation ? If not, can someone point out any
public-domain software which is simple to use ? I want this
for 2 students who have only 3 months to do the project and
I don't think its fruitfull for them to spend ages deciphering
documentation. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

	best regards
