Hey:

   I'm researching voice/speach recognition hardware/software. I'm
particularly interested in what the current state of technology is in
this area. Are there products on the market? If so, what are prices and
accuracy rates and what techniques/algorithms are being used? What
applications is this technology being applied to and how successfully?
Also, what research is being done? If you can help me with any of this
or know of any recent articles, pleas e-mail me. (If this is not an
appropriate news group for this post, I appologize - please point me
toward the correct one)

Thank you in advance,
Paul Banta (pbanta@cs.unlv.edu)
