Yes it can but Fuzzy Logic is probably not the best way to do it.  I think what
you should look at are Neural Networks, in particular 'Hopfield Nets', try a
NetSearch on these topics.  If you are programming in C, Email me, I wrote a
program some time ago called "The C Neural Network Construction Kit" which may
be of use to you.
