I'd like to give an endorsement for Fuzzy-C from ByteCraft in Canada. If you
know a little about fuzzy logic or if you need a C code generator this package
is the best value that I can think of. A few years ago, I read Bart Kosko's
book on fuzzy logic and neural nets and bought then ran into the Fuzzy-C
package from ByteCraft. It was about $150 dollars and it was a great learning
tool. It is a c-code generator. It doesn't do any analysis of membership
functions, or anything really sophisticated, but if you understand the
fundamentals of fuzzy logic, you can do some fine embedded processing. I've
used Fide, and it is a fine package, but for the money, you can't beat Fuzzy C
for value...
