In classical logic, "x -> y" is logically equivalent to "~x or y".
I am not very familiar with fuzzy logic, but I would take the fuzzy
truth of the conditional as max (1.0 - ma(x), mb(y)). I think you
will find that all four corner conditions are satisfied.
