This Sunday, 11/6, at 6 p.m., Extropian Bostonians (or is that Bostonian
Extropians?) will have yet another gathering in North Cambridge.

If you think you have sufficient knowledge and interest in the extropian
agenda, you are welcome - RSVP and I'll give you details and directions.

The meeting will be rather small and quite informal.
You may have a chance to meet other people interested in things like
long-term futurology, AI, nanotechnology, smart drugs, life extension,
immortality, cryonics, libertarianism and anarchocapitalism, space
exploration, general semantics and constructed languages, and lots
of other things (please explore my home page for more info), see some
books and magazines, play with Netscape and share potluck food.

Usually, at such meetings we have free discussions of various issues
and catch up with each other's projects, since the basics of extropianism
and major topics of interest have been quite thouroughly discussed on the
extropian mailing list and other media. This used to frustrate newcomers
who expected to get a good overview of the basic extropian views.

This time, however, I plan to show the Extropy Institute's tape with a
recent TV talk show where the Institute directors do exactly that - give
a good overview of the general issues.

So if you live close to Boston and are interested in anything frontierish,
this is a good time to have a look at extropians.

I have a relatively small apartment, and if there are too many people
interested in coming, we may have to limit the attendance - it's first
R[SVP], first serve. In my experience though, even a small apartment
can host everybody interested in anything...

  Hope to see you there.

- Sasha.
