Motorola have some really good application notes with complete designs. The Unitrode 
databook is also good in this area too.

Get hold of Motorola's publications list, its about 100 pages or so. You will find loads of useful
titles.

The Unitrode book is in a single volume so just get the 1995 edition (if it's out yet!)

Beyond that read the section on power supply decoupling very well - the rest is easy...
