Hi Friends,

I am studying the functioning of the human hand by building
one from sterolithography models of the bones and using cables for tendons
etc.

I am interested in finding the kinds of forces that may be present
at the joints, and am looking for really small sensors for the
forces that may be produced between the joints. I am also interested
in measuring the angular displacement between the two joints. Could
someone out there give me some pointers to some low cost sensors for
the above application. I would also welcome answers from people who have
implemented such sensors in their applications.

Thanks in advance
rungun
