I agree with your statement.
But cloning can be useful. It is not useful to clone a human being (I
think it's probablz dangerous from a social point of view), but it can
be usefule to clone parts of a human being like : liver, lungs, eyes,...
If someone would need one of hs organs to be replaced it can be done by
using an organ cloned from his own cells. This would solve the problem
of biocompatibility and eventual rejction by the patients immune system.
