Overview
The 50th anniversary of Computer Science ("CS50") at Carnegie Mellon University, which was celebrated April 19-22, 2006, included two special sessions on Supply Chain Trading Research organized by the University's e-Supply Chain Management Lab. It also featured an exhibition tournament revolving around the Supply Chain Trading Game ("TAC-SCM").

CS-50 Supply Chain Trading Exhibition Tournament

The tournament, played on April 19 and 20, 2006 involved a total of 15 games between 6 agents that had reached the final stages of the 2005 competition:

  • GoBlueOval - Ford/U. of Michigan (USA)
  • MinneTAC - U. of Minnesota (USA)
  • PhantAgent - U. of Bucharest (Romania) - 2nd place
  • GeminiJK - U. of Gelsenkirchen (Germany)
  • Mertacor - U. of Thessaloniki (Greece) - 3rd place
  • CMieux - Carnegie Mellon U. (USA) - 1st place
