Aircraft and Flying

Aircraft are facinating creations, and to fly them in unusual circumstances even more so. I've had the chance to play around with a few from time to time. I am learning to fly a Cessna 172 (single engine, 4 seater) at Allegheny County Airport near Pittsburgh.
If you want to learn to fly, contact Pittsburgh Flight Training Center at (412) 466 1111, who operate from Allegheny county airport near Pittsburgh. I haven't crashed yet (at the time of writing).

Some nice pictures from recent expeditions:
SAFAIR Lockheed Hercules transport on ice runway at Patriot Hills, Antarctica
NASA F-18 at Dryden Flight Center (Edwards Air Force Base)
personal NASA flight to Dryden Flight Center from the Ames Research Center
Antarctic Air - a less than perfect landing
San Francisco peninsula by helicopter
