CMU CS Curriculum Overview
A summary of the undergraduate Computer Science curriculum at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA, will be presented. Carnegie Mellon is a small private university with approximately 5,000 undergraduates (10% majoring in Computer Science) and 2,000 graduate students. Information on course requirements and student educational choices will be discussed. A brief summary of "Computational Thinking, an approach to Computer Science education articulated by our department head, Professor Jeannette Wing, will be presented.
