Upgrade Instructions for the OpenAFS and Kerberos Ticket Manager Update Utility
This OpenAFS and Kerberos Ticket Manager update utility will require at least one reboot, and is available via Monolith so you may run it at your convenience.
Installation instructions:
- Login to the machine that needs updated with your SCS domain account.
- Open a file explorer window by opening the Windows Start Menu and selecting My Computer. Or, if you're using the "Classic Start Menu", double-click on the My Computer icon on your desktop.

- Type \\Monolith\pc_dist\AFS\Upgrade in the Address input box and press Enter.
- The resulting file explorer should contain two files: kcli_AFS_upg16.exe and Readme.txt.

- Double left-click on the kcli_AFS_upg16.exe file.
- The upgrade process will begin and inform you of its progress and prompt you to reboot your machine upon completion. Please reboot your computer at that time.
