More About Me

Short Bio

I am currently working at Apple with machine learning and natural language processing.

I got my masters degree from the School of Computer Science at Carnegie Mellon University. I was in the MIIS program (MSc in Intelligent Information Systems) offered by the Language Technologies Institute. I also hold a B.Eng. degree in Applied Mathematics and Computer Science from École Polytechnique in France. My research interests include recommender systems, knowledge extraction, and machine learning applied to real-life problems.

I'm originally from Brazil, but I've spent most of my life living and studying abroad. Countries where I've lived include Brazil, Germany (2 years), Mexico (3 years), France (3 years), China (3 months), and USA (since 2013). I love travelling, reading the classics, and cooking.
