About Me

Hello, I am Aditya and am a first year doctoral student in CMU. I am a citizen of India and a native of Bangalore, but was raised in Bhilai. I lived in Bombay for 4 years during my bachelors. I can speak English and Hindi fluently. Although Kannada and Telugu are my native languages, I generally end up speaking colloquial Kannada (peppered with English and Hindi words). I can fairly understand Telugu but unfortunately can't speak it as well. My dad works for the Bhilai Steel Plant and my mother is a Sr. Lecturer in the M.G.M. School there. I also have a wonderful elder brother. BTW, I am in the US on a F-1 visa.

Research Interests

Broadly speaking Data Mining (Graph Mining, Time Series Analysis, Tensors) and Databases. My advisor is Prof. Christos Faloutsos and I work in the Database Group. Here is my Resume : PDF and DOC.
